Career Exploration Program during An American in Paris
September 19 – October 23, 2016

Under the guidance of distinguished professionals, during the An American in Paris Technical Rehearsal, the Broadway Tech program will immerse interested production students in an atmosphere of professional theatre, driven by high artistic standards and a decades long legacy of learning and performance.

This program offers unique workshops, mentor and observation opportunities during the 4-week tech, for An American in Paris. Students will also have the opportunity to attend the invited dress rehearsal, the very first time this show will be performed on tour. Creative and production crews, IATSE department heads and other entertainment industry professionals will serve as mentors to students while they provide support in the technical rehearsal of this major Broadway show. This program, in partnership with Capital Region BOCES is a premiere in the theatrical career orientation programs and will be offered on Thursdays from September 19 – October 23 from 9am – 2pm.
