This 90-minute workshop in the fundamental principles of lighting is designed for those who want to gain a solid overview of the art and craft of lighting. Students will learn the basics of classic three-point lighting, industry standard lighting techniques and get an introduction to the equipment ecosystem. With an emphasis on simple-yet-effective staging scenarios, students will learn how to light a variety of situations.

Date: Workshops will be given the first Saturday of every month at Proctors.

Instructor:  Bob Shenise, Owner Shenise Productions LLC

Emmy award recipient & Director of Photography Bob Shenise started Shenise Productions, LLC in 1999 after 27 years in Broadcast Television. 20 of those years Bob worked for WTEN, Albany as a photojournalist, videographer, producer, ENG & satellite truck operator.

As owner of Shenise Productions, LLC Bob has worked for many of the news magazine shows such as ABC’s 20/20, Good Morning America, NBC & CBS, CNN, MSNBC, C-Span. Production Companies  such as Harpo Porductions, The Rachael Ray show, Food Channel, the History Channel’s Modern Marvels and The States, Discovery and Discovery Canada. Bob has also provides production services for SONY Pictures, 2Oth Century Fox, E Entertainment & HGTV.
