BUBBA HO-TEP
In Mud Creek, Texas, at the Shady Rest Convalescence Center, a man called Sebastian Half claims to be the real Elvis Presley, explaining that – growing weary of fame – he switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his “death.” When his friend Jack, an elderly black man who claims to be President John Kennedy, presents him with evidence that an ancient Egyptian mummy has been busy sucking the souls from the residents of their nursing home, the two men team up to do battle against the dusty undead. Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis star. 92 minutes. Rated R for language, some sexual content and brief violent images.
