Frank Henenlotter’s BASKET CASE
Director Henenlotter is a national treasure and Basket Case his masterpiece! Don’t take it from us, take it from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the esteemed organization responsible for this film’s bold theatrical restoration.

Duane Bradley is a pretty ordinary guy. His formerly conjoined twin Belial, on the other hand, is a deformed, fleshy lump that Duane lovingly carries about in a wicker basket. Arriving in the Big Apple and taking up a room at the seedy Hotel Broslin, the pair set about hunting down and butchering the surgeons responsible for their sad separation. When Duane starts spending time with a pretty blonde secretary, however, Belial’s homicidal tendencies reach bloody new extremes.

Filmed in NYC on a shoestring budget, BASKET CASE clawed its way from its humble origins to become one of the most celebrated cult movies of all time.  Rated R.  91 minutes.

As with other ICFS events, expect prizes, surprises, comfy couches and absolutely gruesome drink specials!
