ICFS presents films from the American Genre Film Archive
Sonny Chiba is WOLF GUY!
It Came From Schenectady and AGFA couldn’t be more thrilled to bring you STREET FIGHTER’s great Sonny Chiba as the only survivor of an ancient werewolf clan who rely on supernatural powers to solve crimes! Wha-wha-what? After a series of bloody killings perpetrated by an unknown force, Chiba uncovers a conspiracy to harvest his lupine blood in order to steal his powers! Prepare for a completely unclassifiable trip into phantasmagoric funk. Chiba’s karate-horror mashup is an intense addition to the pantheon of unheralded ‘70s classics — and an eye-popping reminder that, at that time, the Japanese put more care towards cinematography and production design than any of their contemporaries… save for maybe the Italians. As with other ICFS events, expect prizes, surprises, comfy couches and absolutely killer drink specials! In Japanese w/English subtitles. Not Rated. 86 minutes.

Thursday, May 10 at 7pm

$9 ADULTS; $6 SENIORS 62+ and STUDENTS w/ID
