What could be Dangerous about Music? Everything, really. How it is played or sung, who it is played or sung with, what it is about and what stories it intertwines. Proctors DANGEROUS MUSIC Project, supported in part by the New York State Music Fund, is designed to cultivate a new audience for innovative music. Integrally tied to Proctors Education Program, the music groups F'loom, Lemur and Clogs have been commissioned to produce new work, work in residence in the community with community presentations and school based workshops and, finally, perform a full concert for the community in the GE Theatre.

Starting the series is a performance by F'loom. Their three - headed song and story has been astonishing audiences for over a decade. Join them as they pepper the newly - christened walls of the Proctors GE Theatre with their virtuosic vocals, hilarious hijinks, seething satire and madcap melody. F'loom's uniqueness lies in their ability to weave elaborate tapestries not only of song and spoken work, but of complex percussive rhythms and haunting sonic textures, from banal to other wordly - using only their voices.

F'loom - definitely not your mother's a cappella
