Mike’s first hour Comedy Central special, “What I Should Have Said Was Nothing,” premiered in February and will be released on DVD in April. Mike’s 2007 CD, “My Secret Public Journal Live” received Five Stars from Time Out New York and named "Best of 07" from The Boston Globe, The Denver Post, and the Las Vegas Weekly.
Mike is a regular on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” But what has truly galvanized Mike’s fan base is his “Secret Public Journal,” a weekly travelogue that he emails to thirty thousand fans and broadcasts to millions on the nationally-syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show and Public Radio International’s Fair Game. These personal, autobiographical diary entries, which evoke the nostalgic tone of David Sedaris and the relatability of Bill Cosby, have truly set Mike apart as a master storyteller.
