Artist Statement

The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.

Our fourth dimension, invisible, uncontrollable, unique in lack of control over its structure and pace. As sentient beings we tirelessly shape our palpable, tangible three dimensions to better suit our needs. We sculpt this world to provide shelter, food, comforts that allow us to better weather the unabated march of the fourth dimension. We indulge in our control over the three dimensions to comfort us against the onward march of the fourth. We build mega-watt nuclear power plants that probe and harness the destructive secrets of the physical world. We inject our faces and bodies with plastic to fight the temporal erosion of its advance. Yet still we remain helpless passengers, ferried onwards into the future.
