Undeniably the reigning virtuoso of the violin, Itzhak Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. Beloved for his charm and humanity as well as his talent, he is treasured by audiences worldwide who respond not only to his remarkable artistry, but also to his irrepressible joy of making music.

He debuted at Carnegie Hall in 1963, won the prestigious Leventritt Competition in 1964, has toured extensively, and done guest spots on television shows such as "The Tonight Show" and "Sesame Street." Mr. Perlman has won four Emmy Awards and fifteen Grammy Awards.

Although best known for classical music, Mr Perlman also plays jazz and has been a soloist for a number of movie scores, including the Academy Award winning "Schindler's List."

Itzhak Perlman will be joined by pianist/composer, Rohan De Silva

Originally from Sri Lanka, Rohan De Silva studied at the Royal Academy of Music and The Juliard School. He has been awarded numerous prizes and scholarships.
