Screening of Finalists

Area Premier of The Gates
 
The judges have made their picks! Finalists in each of two competitions will be screened, winners announced and cash prizes awarded. The first competition screenings are for best "Why Schenectady?" documentary. Second are for best "Open Fiction". Between each celebration, Electric City Film Fest 2009 is proud to screen the Area Premier of the Peabody Award winning film The Gates . This is a full-length documentary on Christo and Jeane-Claude's famous exhibit in Central Park, NYC. Filmmaker Antonio Ferrera will be present and speak with the audience afterwards! Antonio is originally from Schenectady. Don't miss this rare opportunity!
