The GE Theatre is going to move, groove and disprove what you may think of conventional party Tunes. Party Horns NYC, a trio of evenings featuring 3 very different ensemble bands, (Red Baraat, Dead Cat Bounce and Slavic Soul Party!) all full of beat, rhythm and good time fun straight from the NYC music scene. It's music that will stir your soul and certainly move your feet.

The new series kicks off with Red Baraat, the first and only dhol ‘n’ brass band in the USA.

Led by drummer Sunny Jain, Red Baraat melds the infectious Punjabi rhythm bhangra with brass funk and expresses the human spirit through improvisation and powerful live sound.

Comprised of dhol (double-sided, barrel-shaped North Indian drum slung over one shoulder), percussion, drumset, sousaphone and horns, this 9-piece NYC-based group delivers an explosive stage performance and presence that leaves audiences in awe.
