Music

This New York musician has a reputation as a talented recording artist, composer of first-class alternative pop songs, and a restless multi-instrumentalist.

His 2001 release Tiger Pop was performed entirely by Brodeur, a true one-man-band effort before everyone with a laptop could make that claim. The album's pop smarts and try-anything produciton style caught the notice of Performing Songwriter magazine: "Pop records like this may be scarce, but when they are of this calibre, they won't remain under the radar for long."

Tiger Pop Ten is Brodeur's 2-CD set featuring a newly recorded version of his debut album coupled with a 10th anniversary reissue of the original disc.

"ONE WILD, CREATIVE, IMAGINATIVE RIDE..." - Indie-music.com

"A GIFTED SONGWRITER WHO HAS THE RARE ABILITY TO CRAFT CATCHY POP HOOKS WITHOUT RELYING ON STOCK POP-SONG STRUCTURES" - Metroland

"SUPERBLY EXECUTED UPBEAT PURE HAPPY POP...SURPRISINGLY GLIDING MELODIES AND UNUSUALLY SMART AND UNUSUAL HOOKS THAT ARE ANYTHING BUT STANDARD FARE."  - babysue.com

Tom McWatters and the Philo Beddoe Band are opening the show!

Tom McWatters has a deep and true love of music, and at times he seems to be actually playing that love more than the guitar or piano he rocks with on stage. His music, which he describes as Rock 'n' Soul, reaches all over, pulling rock, blues, indie and soul into the world of great pop song construction and delivering it via the acoustic troubadour tradition.
