This documentary tells the story of the worldwide poker boom of the last decade that started in the underground clubs of New York City and went on to be played at homes and casinos all around the globe.

The film explores how poker satisfies our desire to play, win, and shape our identities as individuals, for many it is how they chase their American Dream.

In the past year poker has become the target of politicians who cut off millions of people from the ability to play and for many others to make a living. From this a battle has emerged about how we choose to spend our time and money.

Starring Matt Damon, Ira Glass, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Phil Hellmuth, Frank Deford, Daniel Negreanu, and Chris Moneymaker, All In - The Poker Movie is a look at the American dream through the cinematic story of poker.
