“Beauty, power and ferocity all mixed together with love and hope...”   -KZUM-fm

The songs of award-winning activist power duo Pat Humphries & Sandy O have been sung for the Dalai Lama, praised by Pete Seeger, and covered by Holly Near. With beautiful harmonies and genre-defying eclecticism, they deliver the strength of their convictions in an uprising of truth and hope for these tumultuous times.

Celebrating the release of their highly anticipated 4th recording "Revolution Now," Emma’s Revolution brings along their All-Star Band: stellar San Francisco Bay area musicians John R Burr (Maria Muldauer, Alison Brown Quartet) on soulful keyboards (our concert grand in this case), and David Rokeath (Rita Moreno, Ray Charles) with his exquisite drumming.

Covering issues from reproductive justice to killer drones, from the Black Lives Matter movement to the sustaining power of love, the songs on "Revolution Now" span folk to jazz to funk. Emma’s Revolution songs provide inspiration and motivation at this tumultuous time. Mightily influenced by their friend Pete Seeger, they sing on the new album, "Hope changes everything!"
