Gospel Jubilee returns for its 3rd installment in 2014 and is sure to continue the success set in precedent, bringing even greater joy and uplifting music and message to all in attendance.

This year’s event features the return of the Jubilee Mass Choir, comprised of members of local church choirs including the Union College Gospel Choir; Heavenly Voices*, under the musical direction of Pastor Elgin Joseph Taylor, Sr., of Albany’s Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church; the Jubilee Praise Dancers of the Capital Region; and a special musical guest artist, Crystal Aikin.

This evening proudly features a special tribute to the late Capital District gospel promoter and producer, Artis Kitchen.

This special performance of selected songs of triumph, praise and healing is presented in association with Sista Factory (Soulful, Inspirational Sounds to Admire).

*The Heavenly Voices Gospel Choir is a non-denominational group, which promotes self-expression through the singing of contemporary and traditional spiritual songs. The Choir is organized by musical director is Lynny Walters and faculty advisor Gretchel Hathaway. All members of the Union College Campus community are invited to join the choir. Heavenly Voices provides spiritual inspiration at events on and off Union's campus.
