Meet the Film Hawk

FILM HAWK, the documentary feature chronicles the remarkable life of Bob Hawk, the legendary film and theater guru whose assistance was vital to the careers of Kevin Smith (Clerks), Edward Burns (The Brothers McMullen) and numerous others in the world of cutting edge independent cinema.  
One night only.  
A pre-screening VIP mixer reception for Mr. Hawk will be held from 5:45pm–6:30pm at Johnny’s Restaurant (across from Proctors at 433 State Street). Advance purchase required for admission to the reception. A limited number of tickets to the reception remain available at Proctors Box office for $25 each which also includes admission to the Screening and Q&A.
Following the 7pm screening, WNYT’s Benita Zahn will conduct an on-stage interview of Mr. Hawk and moderate an audience Q&A.
All proceeds will support the Upstate Independents Filmmakers Network (UIFN) and Capital Cinema Cultural Exchange (CCCE), two leading non-profit organizations which benefit and encourage independent filmmakers in northeastern New York.
