Four great acts. One unforgettable night.
The annual four-act Sixties Spectacular rocks your favorite stage!
The Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley will perform his solo and Righteous Brothers' hits (three #1 and thirteen top 40 hits) at Proctors for the first time. "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" is the most played hit in the history of radio (over 8 million spins). "You're My Soul and Inspiration" and "I've Had the Time of my Life" were both #1 hits, the latter featured in the movie "Dirty Dancing." It won an Oscar, Golden Globe, a Grammy and Video of the Year. Other unforgettable hits include "Unchained Melody" (featured in the movie "Ghost"), "Ebb Tide," "Just Once in My Life" and "Rock n Roll Heaven," which paid tribute to the rock heroes that died.
Gary Puckett has been a favorite of Proctors audiences. In 1968, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap sold more records than any other band, including The Beatles. Hits include "Woman, Woman," "Young Girl," "Lady Willpower," "Over You" and "This Girl is a Woman Now."
The Vogues, with original lead singer Bill Burkette combine a stylish delivery with strong vocal harmonies on such hits as "You're the One," "Five O'Clock World," "Turn Around Look at Me," "My Special Angel," "Moments to Remember" and "Green Fields."
Opening the show is one of the most fun bands from the 60s, The 1910 Fruitgum Company. They had three Top 5 singles, all million sellers: "Simon Says," "1,2,3 Red Light," and "Indian Giver." They will get the night off to an exciting start.
We are pleased to bring Bill Medley, The Vogues and 1910 Fruitgum Company to Proctors for the first time. Four great acts, one great night. Thanks for keeping the music alive!
