Opening with a performance by up-and-coming country artist Tyler Farr, the WGNA Rising Star Country Series makes its return to the GE Theatre at Proctors this season.
With his hit song Hello Goodbye, Tyler's debut album has been making waves in Nashville and on country music radio all over the nation. Classic country, power ballads and edgy tracks are all featured on the album, and this combination has made him one of the most sought-after new artists in country music.
From an avid small-town outdoorsman to country star, Tyler Farr's life has changed dramatically in the past few years, and he wouldn't have it any other way. He's worked with country music hitmakers like Rhett Atkins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, and recently toured with Luke Bryan and Lee Brice.
"I wanted to make an album you could take anywhere," says Tyler of his debut album, "and I can take this one to a barn party on a back road and have everybody rock out, and at the same time kids can enjoy it and dance to it."
