Marcus Rogers has trained locally at the Myers Dance Studio and Cindy’s Academy of Dance. He has also studied in New York City on scholarship at Peridance Center, Studio Maestro, and the Joffrey Ballet School.
Some of his professional credits include the national tour of Sesame Street Live, the national tour of Bear in the Big Blue House Live, and Jean Ann Ryan Productions with the Norwegian Cruise Lines. Marcus has performed many principle roles with the Northeast Ballet Company. He has also worked with the Schenectady Light Opera Company, Park Playhouse, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the National Museum of Dance, and Spotlight Management.
He is currently Assistant Director of the Dance Program at Union College and an instructor at Myers Dance Studio.

(Bernardo), California Music Theatre Aida, Evita (Che), Forever Plaid (Sparky), Godspell (Lamar), Anything Goes (Billy), Miss Saigon (Papermill Playhouse), Oliver (Helen Hayes Theatre) and Fosse!
Performed as Mother Ginger/Host Father of Northeast Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. I Love You Your Perfect Now Change, Zoser in Aida, Himself in Route 66, Cowardly Lion in The Wiz, Riff in West Side Story at the Majestic Theater; Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice at the Leddy Center. Recently relocated to NH, from NY and MA Bruce has been in several professional productions such as Annie Get Your Gun, Anything Goes, Evita, Singing in the Rain and Damn Yankees with Reagle Players in Waltham MA; Albany’s Park Play House productions of Hello Dolly, Kiss Me Kate, Bridgadoon and Damn Yankees; The Theater Barn, NY productions of Promises Promises, A Chorus Line.
Bruce has choreographed several musicals such as Once Upon A Mattress, Just So, The Boyfriend, My Fair Lady, Willy Wonka Jr. at the River Band Youth Co. Children of Eden, I Do I Do, Carousel, Side Show, Mame, Funny Girl (also played Eddie Ryan) with Riverside Theater Works, and Smokey Joe’s Café, All Night Strut and Big River at the Turtle Lane Playhouse. Bruce has also had the pleasure of choreographing Newton High school’s performance of Bye Bye Birdie. He was a dancer in the Northeast Ballet Company at Union College and his favorite role is Lucky in Dames at Sea.
