Capital District Sports Women of the Year Awards Gala
The Capital District Sports Women of the Year Awards Gala is held annually at the GE Theatre at Proctors. CDSWOY recognizes the achievements of 13 high school and college female student-athletes for excellence in academics, athletics and community service. The event features the announcement of the Grand Collegiate Sports Woman of the Year as well as the Grand Scholastic Sports Woman of the Year. A special nationally known virtual guest speaker is featured as well as performers from the Empire State Youth Orchestra.
