Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Thursday, June 20, 2019 to Sunday, June 23, 2019

Join us for an evening of powerful theater as we present Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize winning play – Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Proudly presented by the Classic Theater Guild, a talented and veteran cast helps weave a provocative and memorable tale of family ties and lies.

Maggie and Brick, along with other family members, gather at a Mississippi Delta plantation to celebrate Big Daddy’s 65th birthday. The sultry weather is almost as oppressive as the lies and deceit that have crippled the family relationships. Brick, an alcoholic and former star athlete, is the favorite son of Big Daddy and Big Mama Pollitt. Maggie “The Cat”, his high spirited but frustrated wife, will stop at nothing to regain her husband’s affections and prevent Brick’s brother and his wife from taking control of the family fortune.
