COLEWELL plus Q&A with director Tom Quinn
“Karen Allen gives the performance of a lifetime” – L.A Times
Inspired, in part, on the recent experience of Schenectady county residents in tiny Alplaus, NY, Colewell is about the effect upon neighbors of the planned closing of their post-office, which also served as a community gathering place. Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Ark) stars as the postmaster in rural Colewell, PA. Having served quietly at the center of community life for 35 years, she must now choose to either retire, or to leave the tight-knit town for another position. At the same time, the town must struggle with the possibility of life without her and her office. Director Tom Quinn will attend the screening and engage in a Q&A with the Proctors audience. Not rated. 79 minutes.
