Eminem’s BODIED

“A Masterpiece. Alive and vital in ways that 99% of movies never are” – ComingSoon.net

“A clever take on a generation more aware of what’s offensive and what’s not than any before – RogerEbert.com

A fearless, pitch-perfect social wake-up” – We Got This Covered

Eminem steps out of the performing spotlight to produce this hilarious and frightening tale of a progressive white graduate student who finds success – and sparks outrage – when his interest in battle rap as a thesis subject turns into a competitive-performance obsession.

Winner of the Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness People’s Choice Award, as well as Fantastic Fest’s Audience Award, BODIED – written by battle rapper Kid Twist (aka Alex Larson) – unflinchingly explores race, cultural appropriation and the politics of battle rap. Rated R for strong language and sexual content throughout, some drug use and brief nudity.  120 minutes.
