ICFS presents CINEMA OTHER: Films from the American Genre Film Archive
Lucio Fulci’s  LIZARD IN A WOMAN’S SKIN

A top-shelf Italian shocker, director Lucio Fulci’s “trippy dippy giallo” opens with “a ravishingly-colored,“ acid-laced, amorous dream “on surrealistic pillows” (Ian West, Letterboxd).  Both Fulci – and composer Ennio Morricone – reached peak WTF-ness with this jarring sensorial barrage in which the possibly-unhinged daughter (Florinda Bolkan) of a respected politician is accused of killing her hedonistic neighbor after having witnessed the murder in a hallucinogenic nightmares. Not rated. 104 minutes.
