Kuumba Film Festival
Straight off of Sundance film festival success, Our Keynote Speaker is Ramfis Myrthil (A Boy,A girl and a Dream) and many other projects. He will be talking to us about the industry and answering questions. Ramfis just recently opened the doors to his own production company Ramfis productions.
Panels will feature Amory Studios NY Owner, Ray Legere, Film Schenectady Rich Lovrich, Electric city entertainment, Film Albany Deb Goedeke and reps from the 518 film alliance. The former 518 great Kevin Craig West will be there as a special honored guest receiving our first “Greatness in the Arts” award at the festival. Local Filmmaker Prince Sprauve will be presenting his film”The Last Shot,” “A Nouveau Christmas Story” by Jermaine Wells and “Fever” by Jeremy Feight and Angele Cooper. The latter stars Janet Hubert from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”
