CD Release Party: Ready To Go
Guests: Greg Greenway (guitar, piano, uke)
Pat Wictor (6-string guitar & slide guitar);
Brian Melick (percussion); Diane Perry (violin);
Mark Murphy (bass)

A songwriter and performer of great depth and passion, Reggie writes songs that merge hard-won wisdom and a conviction that life, though often challenging, nonethe- less overflows with possibility and hope. His lyrics reveal thoughts and feelings about life, love and other deeply spiritual yet human experiences. Rooted in a long-ago family legacy of slavery and a childhood era defined by poverty and racism, he speaks to world issues from a family and cultural history that makes it all paradoxically, beautifully universal and immensely personal.

A fluid singer, arranger, and uniquely powerful guitarist, he has graced our stages on countless occasions with or without his wife Kim – with whom he still performs when her schedule allows – to support the environment, unions, community singing, the music of Phil Ochs, Clearwater or The Eighth Step. Some rare nights, he comes just for the fun of playing along with the drummers or a storyteller, or another musician.

Join us for this very special party-concert and help us properly launch Reggie’s first solo recording!
