Sunday, March 27, 2022

Here are some of the many quotes about fools and wisdom:

“Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread.”  Alexander Pope

“A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool. ” William Shakespeare

“Wise men listen and laugh, while fools talk.”  Curtis Jackson

Come listen to stories of wise fools, personal, folktales and literary, told by: Kate Dudding, Marni Gillard, Jeannine Laverty, Eileen Egan Mack, Linda McKenney, Mary Murphy, Sandy Schuman and Priscilla Sprague

Now in its 15th season at Proctors, Word Plays consists of stories celebrating the human spirit.

Each Word Plays performance has its own theme and eight performers sharing rarely heard contemporary and traditional stories on that theme. Word Plays is a shared experience between the audience and the performer, combining the intensity of a solo performer with the intimacy of a face-to-face conversation.
